I spent a couple of evenings blushing the hands that arrived last week. I replaced the ceiling bulbs so now I can actually see what I'm doing at night. Of course as usual there are a few spots I overlooked but it's fine. I didn't sand the seams...maybe I should have.
The sandpaper I have isn't fine enough though and I don't trust myself to match the smoothness. Well, I'm going to have to do some sanding anyway because of my clumsiness. One hand fell off the alligator stick during its final coat of sealant. I should start putting a really big tarp down so at least if I drop something it's not going to BOUNCE off of concrete. I suppose I could do it over grass too. It's not too bad of an injury, there are no scuffs, just 2 little dents. But even after boiling, they're going to need to be sanded out. I'm annoyed at myself but not upset about it, because my boys can still hold hands. I haven't blushed the default hands, I think I will leave those alone.
