I went to my local fountain pen club meeting this evening, it was nice. Actually I was a little nervous. How long has it's been since the last time I socialized in person amongst a group of strangers, 6 months? I didn't realize how much I missed it. I regret spending so much of my teenage years as a homebody. No one prepared me for how rare these occassions would be as an adult. The pens were discounted, some steeply because of body damage (which I couldn't even see), so I let myself have fun. I have to remember, you can only have one collection-based hobby at a time... One is for mom. I did not purchase any ink.
