This summer so I made a picnic basket into a carrier for Astilbe, who recently arrived. The fabric is old bed sheets. I made a video for this project too! But I took it down because I was embarassed my my sewing ability lol I've since removed the top part. The pocket wasn't big enough and it's just a little sloppy.

I had fun doing faceups for the first time in a long time because of these two. I really enjoyed it even though neither of them turned out that great. I had to get new paints and brushes, but I'm still using some of the exact same pastel sticks I startd with years ago.

I'm finally decent at a method for painting eyelashes that I'm very happy with. They're very simple but I'm happy with them. For the longest, I was struggling with a way to give Tia tears, I think that sort of pitiful expression is very cute. Well, the last time I painted my Kinoko Juices, I was inspired by the default faceup on Volks's Marie. She has white sparkles on her eyelashes to mimic the art of Rose of Versailles. So I tried it again here! It's very subtle, I want to try it this way for future faceups.
