I came upon my old box of Littlest Pet Shop when I was visiting grandma this weekend. I could have sworn they were given to a much younger kid in the neighborhood after I had outgrown them (with consent) many years ago, but evidently not!
A lot of them were covered in some kind of paint, melted from exposure to years of back-of-a-carpeted-closet heat, or...chewed on. I'm honestly not sure how many of these cases were my doing, but I was able to salvage maybe about 2/3, including most of my favorites (rip fuzzy bat). I'm not really sure what to do with them though!!!! It was just a quick visit but next time I go back I'll do some (consensual) snooping and see if my Calico Critters are still there by some miracle too! They might be in an even worse state ^^
In other news, I'm moving! I won't be able to take all of my dolls this time, and I'm going to miss them very much! But I've decided to put my wisdom teeth in their headcaps, so it will be like we're still together. I guess I've selected my favorite four. I hope I can quickly grow more teeth so my other dolls aren't left out. Once again I'm reminded of the convenience of minis but they really are just a compromise.
I miss my boys already.. ;_;
