It's that weird period between Halloween and Thanksgiving where everyone has too much stuff to do but really we're just looking forward to the next day off. One of my friends moved in with her boyfriend, but none of us are a fan of him. I'm going to have to miss her housewarming party because I have to travel for work. Yesterday, I finished Haupia's faceup. I wanted to try a soft, fresh, concept this time. I didn't paint eyebrow hairs. Her lips could be darker and her eyelashes lighter in color but more solid. My skills are still lacking refinement, but I'm glad I could improve even this much. I will keep practicing! Frustration always comes before a breakthrough.
