#7I've been working on my Doll page lately. I keep going back and forth about what I want to do with it. But I'm the same way with my dolls. It's hard for me to just pick one thing I want to do! So I spent a long time trying to do the faceup for my new boy. Actually for starters the weather has been all over the place, so that stalled my progress quite a bit. Both of my Kinoko Juices have more delicate features even if they're not necessarily smaller, but this head was so hard to paint because there's so much more topography! I attempted doing dark eyebrows as I always do, because I like swapping wigs a lot. But I had a mushroom cut white wig (not a fan) and white eyelashes for my old tinies. So, at the end of the day I went with white! Maybe I will just go full dark elf? Or goblin king?
Well since I bought myself Santa brought me some Honeybears for Christmas as well, I thought it would be funny if he was a honeybear king. He won't be kidnapping any children though. Oh... I think I finally understand why people have long, elaborate backstories for their dolls now.
In other news, and my friends are planning on going to a Mitski concert together next month (pandemic permitting). Most of us haven't been to one in a couple of years. I haven't been to one in much longer, because I don't like crowds. I'll probably cry! But I'm looking forward to it. One of my absolute biggest regrets that keeps me up at 2AM is not going to see Perfume at SXSW in 2015 (as if I had the means to go anyway), so I am going to become the concert junkie I know I was always never not meant to be!
